You can install Filezilla in a number of ways. The simplest process is to use the Ubuntu Software Center.
Open Ubuntu Software Center and do a search on Filezilla:

Click on Filezilla and follow the prompts to install the Filezilla.

To install Filezilla via terminal. Open terminal via menu or via keys CLT+ALT+T.
sudo apt install filezilla
To install Filezilla via PPA:
Open terminal either from system application menu or by pressing Ctrl+Alt+T on keyboard. When terminal opens, run command to add the PPA:
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:sicklylife/filezilla
Type user password (no asterisk feedback) when it prompts and hit Enter to continue.
After adding the PPA, refresh system package cache and install the ftp client via commands:
sudo apt update sudo apt install filezilla
