Installing and Configuring Geary Email

You can install Geary email from the Software Center via Sanp process. Open Software center and search for Geary email.

Install Geary App on Linux Ubuntu – Using Terminal:

• To open the Terminal, you have to click CTRL+ALT+Ton Linux Ubuntu.
• First, you have to add the below PPA to get the newest version of the email client and also to receive future updates.

sudo add-apt-repository ppa:geary-team/releases

You will be asked to enter your system password to verify the process.

Then, execute the below command to upgrade the email client.

sudo apt update

• Copy and paste the below command to install the Geary application.

sudo apt install geary

After launching Geary you will be taken to the setup screen:

Choose your email setup and follow the prompts from there.
